Anime has much more color and brings the characters to life than just the colorless pages you read in a manga.

However, sometimes the story and plot in a manga has much more needed detail in order to make a series great and no matter how much amazing color, animation or sound you put into an anime it will fall short if no plot is conveyed correctly.

The images above have such a great contrast into what can make an anime so promising and disappointing at the same time. The manga written about "The Promised Neverland" was absolutely amazing with such a great story and the only thing it lacked was the beautiful color images and musical scores to build up our emotions. On the other hand, the anime had brought the story to life with amazing voice actors, beautiful scenery, and musical scores that were unforgettable, but broke the story.

In short, the anime of " The Promised Neverland" season 1, was amazing and anyone can dive right into watching the 1st season, but then should just read the rest of the story in the manga. I say this because season 2 of this Anime will not make sense to anyone who didn't read the manga. They cut out so many chapters and detailed information that could have made this such a promising anime and instead we got disappointment! I love both watching anime and reading manga, but when you have people who do one or the other this is a case were the two groups need to come together.

There is always going to be the question "Are you an anime watcher or a manga reader or both?". Personally as long as you like Japanese animation/storytelling I don't think there should be a versus in the middles of anime or manga especially since we have such a great example of what happened with the series of "The Promised Neverland".
